Hello, anyone willing to provide some thoughts or perspectives are most welcomed.

So, on upcoming July 11th, Cornell freshmen need to pre-enroll classes in accordance with the requirements/expectations of respective majors; however, my biggest problem is that I'm still undecided. Yes, I know I might be considered very sluggish or lethargic.. I blame myself for sheer indecisiveness. Throughout my high school, I basically took every AP class it offered, and I still could not determine what major I want to pursue in college.

Yet, I noticed how college advisers or admission officers welcomed any students similarly struggling to decide their intended major (if I correctly remember, I think about 60% incoming freshmen are undecided). And, one of the reasons I chose Cornell was to explore the considerably large breadth and diversity of study Cornell provides. Now, facing a huge dilemma of enrolling for the classes, I'm highly doubting if I can actually be successful as an undecided, unintended major.

For example, if I select courses similar to those of Economy-major intended and later change my mind to pursue science major, I will be screwed; without introductory science classes like Bio or Chem taken during my freshman year, I will probably have to stay a year more in college to finish all requirements. And, while BME students are taking Organic Chem during their Sophomore year, I will be taking introductory Chem and the economy classes I take will be left in complete nothingness.

What should I do? What do incoming Freshmen absolutely unsure of what major he/she wants to take do? Please help me out.
