I completed my Spring semester of freshman year, and I managed to do much better than my Fall semester. I will have mostly b's though, but I realize now that I will have to work even harder to get A's. Luckily, I had no withdrawals from courses. However, the purpose of this post is to get insight into my course selection for my Fall semester. My advisor said I need to take O chem, Calc, Bio, and another Arabic course. I don't want to take all of these in one semester though because it would probably be too much for me. I was thinking of taking Calc, Ochem, and Arabic... but I would need another class probably, in order to be a full time student. What do you guys think?

You should be able to handle Orgo, Calc and Bio (and Arabic) at the same time. Every pre-med has to go through a heavy semester or two or three.

If you consider that a tough workload, then go through with it. You’re going to have it far worse in medical school, so at some point you have to see if you can handle it.

I understand, but I would like to make sure that can do it, while maintaining a good GPA. Some people have told me that it is not a good idea to take o chem and bio together.

a lot of people at my school take physics, bio, and ochem together. just gotta do what you gotta do.
