I am currently taking Math 103. And will be taking 104 -linear alg.,121-abstract alg, 131 diff equations, 135-probability, 136-statistics, 139-adv calc and probably 123S-geom, 124- combin, 128S--number theory and 187-logic. Does anyone have an opinion of a good sequence and which courses could reasonably be taken together. I already have appt with the department, but fellow students' thoughts are sometimes most reliable. Thanks.

Man, that must stink being a math major.

Being an engineer, we take (103, 104, and 131 in that order)

Um.... unless you are also a math minor or doule major, as an engineer you should be taking 103, 107, and 108 :-D

rapguy - only part in all that I know is 135 is a pre-req for 136...

Yea, I just figured 104 and 131 were the equivalents to 107 and 108, sorry if that was confusing.

Personally, I cant imagine being a math major. Im in 107 and cant wait to get math out of the way. I doubt if you will find many math majors on here, but we can always be suprised.

Thanks DukEgr93, no I'm not an eng. major, although many of my friends are. It'll be Math if I can get through the first few classes.

rapguy - mean that for OSU(wasn't for)ME :-D

And hey - NEVER to late to switch to Pratt

Thanks, Dr. G. :)

This was my twin's name, but OSU wasnt for him either. He went to MIT. So I guess it's time to switch the name.
