I've noticed that a lot of my friends who go to UCI have had a lot of trouble registering for classes for next quarter because they are already full. I wrote a quick program that you can use that checks for openings in a given class every 10 seconds, and emails / texts you as soon as it is, so you can quickly run and register for it.

Send me a PM with the class you want to check and your email address / phone number and I'll run it on my server for you.

sounds interesting, but would it matter/work since there are Waitlists for classes? unless these are for the classes that don’t have waitlist? i’m not sure how many classes i’ve encountered w/o waitlist, if any.

i just realized that your schedule of classes doesn’t show how many spots there are on the waitlist. I guess the program would be pretty useless in general.

Your post doesn’t really make sense. Your “friends” at UCI are already having trouble signing up for classes? Like 3/4ths of the school hasn’t registered yet, so I find that doubtful.

^ Are you an upperclassman? Well, either way, it should be even more difficult to register for classes once you have to start taking upper-division classes where things get narrowed down and the classes are significantly smaller. I had a fairly early registration time and classes were already full.

But anyways, it does sound interesting; very nice of you to offer. I might shoot you a PM sometime.
