<p>I know nothing about NY specifically but there are generally two ways of taking CC classes: in addition to high school classes and instead of high school classes. If you receive high school credit for the CC courses, they will usually appear on your high school transcript. If you enroll at the CC independently of high school (taking additional courses in your leisure time), they certainly won't.</p>
<p>Colleges will get to see your grades either way because you are required to provide transcripts of all academic institutions attended within the last 3 or 4 years.</p>
