<p>What courses should I take next semester? Right now I am taking Physics 1232- Classic Mechanics 2, Math 160- Calculus 2, and Architectural drafting</p>

<p>I will reinforce what pageturner said. My younger daughter has toured eight architecture schools so far; every one of them stated how important the ability to draw and sketch was in the studio classes. None of them recommended CAD or drafting over art courses (especially drawing). Their comments were universal that they can teach you those computer skills for drafting. </p>
<p>Also, when you are applying to a school that requires a portfolio (although not all schools require a portfolio), your art teacher should be a valuable asset to putting one together.</p>
<p>Our school didn’t offer a drawing class, so my daughter took one online and really enjoyed it. I think the arch programs really like to see that.</p>
