hi i'm in the honors program and a ross pre-admit for next year and i really wanted to live in south quad but i somehow ended up in couzens even though i thought i was guaranteed central housing. i'm upset about this mainly because i wanted to live with other people in honors and also because south quad is supposed to be the best dorm. i was wondering how is couzens in general as a freshman dorm/social life/location etc? thanks

South Quad isn't guaranteed for Honors. This year, because there were too many students in Honors for the space available in South Quad, there will be a group of Honors students in Couzens. It's not quite as close to Central Campus as South Quad, but still close to Central Campus and right next to the pedestrian bridge to Palmer Commons.

haha yeah i'm in couzens too

ughhhhhhhh

it's so far away

I have it worse. I'm in Oxford.

yeah i guess that's pretty bad too

i 'm just not looking foward to walk in the cold

My friend was in Oxford this year and he didn't mind it at all. There's a really good shuttle to central campus, and there is no dining hall in oxford, which for him was a good thing haha.

does anyone know about couzens in general?

Yes. My friend lived there last year and he liked it. I've seen the rooms and they are quite nice. It's a little far but you can use the bus service. The food sucks though.

Well I'm in couzens too....so I guess a bunch of us will be meeting up soon.

There is a small dining hall in Oxford.

are there community bathrooms in couzens?

How much time would it take to get from Couzens , to Central Campus ,
1. Walking?
2. Cycle?

five minutes

cherrybarry, does couzens have community bathrooms?
