I emailed the uconn admissions twice and both times they forwarded the email but I still do not have a response. I want to know how I can apply to this program. Is there like an option on the application to the university in which I can show my intent for this program? Thanks for the help.

Contact information here: [B.A./B.S. and M.D. Program at the UConn School of Medicine](http://medicine.uchc.edu/prospective/babs_md/index.html)

Feel free to give them a call.

Thanks for the help.

I have one other question that I thought of today. When applying to uconn, I need to turn in a letter of rec. I also have to turn one in when applying to the CPiM program. Can I turn the same one in for both or do I need to ask another teacher for one?

If you can find someone to give you a LoR with a different perspective, speaking about your qualities which make you good for this particular program, then find a second one.

Once again thank you. I have one more question (sorry about posting questions seperately, this one just came to me today). When applying to this program, should I chose my major as biology or is it possible to choose anything science related, such as biomed engineering. Thank you for the help.

The major is irrelevant, as long you take the prerequisite courses.
