<p>Come naked = loads of fun</p>
<p>Even if it’s raining, make sure that you visit lots of different living groups and talk to the people there. Don’t assume that your host’s living group is representative of MIT in general (because there is no such thing as a living group that is representative of MIT in general). If you hate where you’re staying, that might just be an indicator that you’d not want to live there as an MIT student, not that you aren’t suited for MIT.</p>
<p>Don’t have sex with another prefrosh on your host’s bed (yes, I knew someone whose prefrosh did this, and I vaguely knew the prefrosh once she actually matriculated). Your host might catch you, and enough people will probably remember who you are if you matriculate.</p>
<p>Fraternities throw lots of parties during CPW. Going to some fraternity parties is great. But I’d avoid spending your whole weekend at fraternity parties at the expense of everything else (dorms throw parties during CPW too, but I haven’t noticed prefrosh who only go to dorm parties at the expense of everything else they could be doing).</p>
<p>Have real conversations with students, not just other prefrosh.</p>
