Cr!

so i'm taking the test this saturday & my critical reading score went down from a 680-720 (what i was getting a month ago) range to 270-630 (now). I am not sure what happened. =[
what should i do?

***?....270-630?...Typo?...

^I don't see any typos, His usual range was 680-720 but now finds himself scoring in the 270-630 range.

how can you jump from 720 to a 270? that's impossible unless you hit your head or something.

s**t happens

A 270 means you're actually getting about 3 or 4 questions right.

ohh noo i meant 570.
it is a typo.

but... any advice?

haha obviously it was 570.

my only advice is to try and do what you did before. it's extremely unusual for a persons score to decline 50 points or so, but with practice hopefully you'll be able to get back there.

i think i am overanaliyzing the questions. I just did another one and got a 580.
what the hell happened.

Yeah, over analyzing hurts you. Remember that the answer is objective. There is always an objective reason why the right answer is better than the others. Narrow it down to two possibilities, which is always easy. And then look for textual evidence that makes one answer better than the other. Usually the answer is fairly obvious. If you feel like you are over thinking it, you are. Step back and approach the problem from another perspective. You'll do fine.

What kidn of test are u taking?

collegeboard
