Crabtown Check In page.

We are here at the Residence Inn.
give a shout out if you have made it to Annapolis.

Best of luck masterchief!!!!!

???? former Chef not former M Chief

If you like Maryland crabs (and like to starve while eating them), check out Cantlers. It's a short drive from the center of Annapolis, but it's on the water, has great crabs (and other stuff like crabcakes, crab dip, etc.). Lots of fun with picnic-style tables, butcher block paper as tablecloths, and probably not too crowded right about now.

Enjoy these days of bliss. Seriously. For all of you, Annapolis the city will never quite look the same.

I'll be at the Springhill Suites on Sunday.

Hey Mike: If you have some time to kill you might want to go down to the Marine Corps Museum @ Quantico. It is right off 95 and about 1 and 1/2 hours away. You can spend a lot of time there and still have a lot left to see (open 7 days a week). Good Luck to all and Semper Gumby!!! I can't believe it was only one year ago yesterday, I-Day 2007.

I was at Cantlers on Wed afternoon. Amazingly good.
Crabs and mussels, can't be beat.
Can also recommend the IRish restaurant on Maryland street, I think, next to the state house, just behind the uniform shop [that is lcosing] located on teh circle drive around teh state house. A good irish name that I can't remember. Good restaurant away from the crowds of West St.
And don't forget the italiian resturant across the wharf circle from the Acadmeyu; not the fancy Italizan to the right of the circle but the Pizza place across the circle.

Galway Bay - it a great Irish pub. A favorite in our family.

was going to go there but got mixed local reviews?

Cantler's YES. I'm from texas and that was the first and last place I ate in Annapolis. Hopefully it becomes a family tradition.

We are eating at Cantler's the night before I Day. Got lots of good reviews for it!

Buddys? Not worht it. I wish I had their real estate though. We at Buddy's on I-day weekend--because it was there--and found Cantlers the next year. Cantlers is worth the tiwsts and turns of finding it.

Isn't there a crab place in Eastport that is supposed to be real good?

We're eating at Ruth's Chris night before. Anyone else?

My parents and I are considering that one as well. Lewnes (I think that is how you spell it) is also supposed to be pretty good for a nice steak.

If you drive over to the Inner Harbor there are some nice crab places...and it's fun!

My family is eating at Ruth Chris as well.

I heard some musical group from the Academy is going to be there. (glee club maybe?)

Our reservation is for 7. Maybe we'll see you there. If anyone plans on going, go to their website and make a rez or you may not get in.

Yeah I think ours is 7 as well.

Freshest seafood,
Long wait but worth it.
Messy authentic MD crab experience
Picnic tables with butcher paper and piles of crabs, oysters, clams, etc...

Ruth's Chris is definitely more white tablecloth experience and more $$$$$$$

off to chapel now. 11:00 P service

Very moving,
Chaplain Fish seemed very intune with the younger crowd.
