<p>Mike's Crabhouse.... on the south river (follow riva road south until you go over the river, then it's a sharp left off the bridge).... great for crabs and ribs, on the river and beautiful.</p>

Compared to Cantlers?</p>
<p>Have not been to Cantlers yet- somehow we always end up at Mikes! But very good....big outside deck right on the river, great service, great ribs (for the landlubber set) and a wait staff that was very patient and kind in showing a few of us "newbie northerners" how to crack crab!!! Good thing too--- I was definately headed towards eating the wrong stuff!!!! Fond memories of the "last supper" (they accomodate a crowd easily)- and have been back several times since- all good!</p>
<p>As luck would have it, I will be heading down to the yard again soon, so will make it a point to check out Cantlers for a good "compare and contrast!!!"</p>
<p>I like Mikes and I'm from New England no problem with crabs but I'll take lobstahs any day a lot easier. Mike's is the local spot. Navy coach told us about it. Good luck</p>
<p>Xchefmike: Just a heads up. When you go into the Midstore later in the year and purchase some "essentials" for your Mid you will find that he will have a hard time finding his card. After you dig yours out and use it you will discover that their card gets charged to their account. Purchases on your card you have to pay for. The comment was "using my Mid card sort of defeats the whole purpose of your visit" Always had a good meal and good times at Mike's although the parking can be tough.</p>
<p>Just landed at BWI. Staying at the Westin in Annapolis.</p>
