Crappy interview. YAY!

<p>it was 40 minutes long. The room was dry, I was nervous and my throat tied into a knot from time to time. Her cell phone rung twice. Overall, we never got very far beyond the peripherals. I mean I got the point across that I love running and sports. But I think that it could've gone much better.</p>

<p>I heard that good interviews usually last at least an hour. I guess that mine just wasn't that good for one reason or another.</p>

<p>Should I be worried?</p>

<p>I wouldn't be worried about the time thing, but I would perhaps be a little worried about the fact that you didn't go beyond the superficial. The purpose of an interview isn't for you to read your application out loud to the interviewer; it's to show more of you, something that they couldn't have learned from reading the application.</p>
