at my school, a kid got suspended for saying something racist near our assistant principal.

the seniors in 2006 turned senior lot into a beirut stadium-- it was sick. noone got suspended because they couldn't pin anyone.

Someone got expelled for 1 year for beating a rival school student with a metal pipe... and the same kid got suspended for breaking a bus window with his fist...jeez

my brother gets suspended all the time...his most recent 3 day suspension for fighting just ended....whenever the teachers find our we're brothers they don't believe it

the kid in charge of running our yearbooks got suspended cuz there was a ***** drawn on one of the animation thingies on our book. I didn't even realize it since it was so subtle but funny once i realized it.

ME!!!! I was expelled in 8th grade for hitting my friend with a rubber band in science class. NO JOKE. The asst. principal said it was 1st degree assault because it welted the girls arm even though girl was my friend who said that getting me in trouble was bull#$%.

So yep, the valedictorian (as of the first cardmarking) of my middleschool in 2004 was expelled for "assault." October 15, 2004.

mostly my schools just drugs and alcohol. 2 yrs ago the s enoirs had a big party at a cabin with lots of alcohol and police came and arrested everyone...some people got duis too bc they were drunk and sleepin in their cars. (the cars were parked, but thats teh law i guess)

last year a student went on a very prominent (VERY COMPETITIVE, big board on here) school's AIM chat and said terribly racist and mean things (not that funny, actually, but he thought it was) and blamed it on our school. to the college. the college threatened to re-evaluate every applicant from our school. he only got a slap on the wrist bc the head of school was afraid of fallback from disciplining him.

the most recent HUGE thing that happened i'm actually not allowed to talk about bc it is a pending law case i guess. involving inappropriate pictures of an underaged girl...aka trafficking child porn.

I'm not even kidding. I did so many bad things at that school and THIS is what I get expelled for. Yes, ok, that was my third expullsion ever, but still. The other 2 were both in 1st grade.

I'm in Yearbook.. and as a revenge for my evil teachers.. I want to quote them saying dumb things. Example, my closeted teacher that thinks he's cute and funny, has said "Flick my Bic" or "Big things come in small packages, except for Jimmy", etc.

This was in middle school, but I'll never forget the kid who was suspended for calling a teacher a peanut-head. This teacher was well-liked and was casual around students. While writing something on the board, he made a silly math error or something and the student jokingly called out, "What's wrong with ya, Mr. G, you peanut-head!"

The teacher ended up taking it extremely seriously and had the kid suspended. Worse yet, this was about a week away from the 8th grade end-of-the-year trip to a water park and the kid wasn't allowed to go.

If someone did that at our school, like half of it would be suspended. Some JV cheerleaders did get suspended b/c the coach found pics of them partying on MySpace.

And of course we have the usual drugs, bomb threats, fights, and guns. We had a fight a few years back that got 20 people arrested, and the story made CNN.

at my old hs we had one week straight of bomb threats. that followed with 2 wks of LOCK DOWN mode ....teachers walkin you to the bathroom and stuff

A friend of mine was suspended last year because she intervened and stopped a fight. Apparently zero tolerance means "Let the kids beat each other till the administration comes, do not trying to hold anyone back yourself."

And getting in trouble for partying outside of school cannot warrant a suspension from school. Those people should challenge it, only when the students are in school or attending a school function can be punished for breaking a school rule.
