craziest suspensions/expulsions at your school

oh i have another good one!

my cousin got expelled from 3 preschools for biting! haha

How can people be suspended or expelled for posting pictures on non-school affiliated websites of non-school affiliated activities? Unless you attend a private school, it's really none of the school's damn business... I would think that public schools have no jurisdiction over what you do off campus after school hours.

As for crazy suspensions... lesse...

This one kid took a roll of paper and beat one of the math teachers over the head with it. He got suspended for a week. Pretty ridiculous at first blush, but that woman is my teacher now and I can wholly sympathize with his dislike of her. The same kid punched another teacher in the mouth (the 6'4" ROTC teacher, no less) and got expelled.

A group of seniors drank on an AP Art History field trip to Chicago and posted pictures of themselves passed out, guzzling beer, etc on Facebook. A parent notified the school and they were suspended. The timing of their suspension meant that they could not walk at graduation, incidentally. It was actually big local news, considering that the suspended kids included the senior class president, the captain of the tennis team, and several other prominent "good" kids.

Let's see. Then there was the fight between these two girls... One of them had apparently thrown a glass bottle at the other girl's mom (!?) a day prior. When the girl with the injured mother came to school that morning, she saw the bottle-thrower and went nuts. They fought so fiercely in the cafeteria that they broke two chairs and had to be torn off of each other. The aforementioned ROTC teacher had to pry one of them off and throw her into the library, while the other was dragged out of the building by the equally formidable German teacher. As they took her out, she clung onto the door frame for dear life, screaming obscenities... They both got expelled...

two students had sex on a school retreat. in the jesuit residence. they got expelled and everybody was really upset because they were great students.

a looottt of students got suspended for risque and drunked/high myspace pictures.

a bunch of seniors last year showed up at the senior luncheon/awards ceremony really drunk and talked to the dean. or at least tried to talk to him. they couldnt walk at graduation.

also, three students got suspended for a sex tape they made..involving an eiffel tower. everyone, including a number of teachers, has seen the tape.

and my favorite...a boy couldnt walk at graduation because of his yearbook quote: Dont Remember All Past Experiences. Remember Isolated Situations Gravitating Around Yourself.

so the dean at our school or brother Draper. Read the first letter of each word and you get Draper is Gay. of course the student capitalized the letters and bragged about it to anyone who would listen.

our dean is a nice guy so he called him in to ask about it, and the student said that they were song lyrics. so he pulled up the website with the song. two days later, the dean tried to get the website up again to show a teacher. it wasnt there. turned out the kid put the website up for a day to show the dean and then took it down for some reason. he couldnt walk at graduation for lying and stuff. and the whole draper is gay thing.

Two kids were having sex in the bathroom, but someone walked in, so the girl cried rape. It was a HUGE deal for our school.

Last year some kid was running through the hall, chased by a couple police officers, who tackled him. The kid tried to strangle one of the officers; he left bruises all along her neck...I think he was being arrested for drug dealing or something.

Not crazy but ridiculously unfair

Student got suspended for throwing an apple at an adult when in reality, he just tossed it to her because she asked for it (food is not allowed in the media center).

Last year two sophomores were expelled for selling weed in the locker room, and a year or two ago some girls were suspended for showing up drunk at a school dance, but otherwise there really haven't been any "scandalous" suspensions or expulsions. I go to a small private IB school, and there really aren't any fights or anything like that here.

I've wanted to punch the people in my media center before. I was messing with the monitor settings cuz it was 7am and my eyes were about to roll out of my face and somebody comes by all suspicious-like and asks what I'm doing. I REALLY wanted to say "HACKING YOUR COMPUTERS LADY"

When in reality I can't code to save my life. :P

I got suspended in the 8th grade for tripping the librarian.

she was "big" and MEAN and always RUDE & UNHELPFUL

i acted on impulse and only got suspended for a day lol

My current senior class is prob down 50 kids from freshman year, and that includes a lot of expulsions- some of the better one

A well liked kid got kicked out bc he wrote "Fu** (insert school name here) on his myspace
A kid walked off with a huge school owned amp

Suspensions
-A kid had a "douch*bag" list of like 15 kids that was found online months after he put it up, everyone hated the wrong kid for a while, but eventually the actual author was found and he got suspended
-Someone wrote a letter to a teacher disagreeing with a grade
-a bunch of senoirs last year smoked weed on the last day of school. they got caught and couldnt walk graduation and had to do work for the school the week after they were out, in front of all the underclassmen and teachers
- a kid taped a fight outside school on his cellphone and put it on youtube

this kid saved up his **** in water bottles in his water then poured them out over the school one day. the security guard caught him stocking up his locker. that's just embarrassing, i mean how do you explain that to your parents?

saved up his what?

Okay, this one made national news a year or two ago - couple guys put a bag of deer guts on top of ceiling panel in cafeteria after school. By next morning, the bag of guts started leaking on to the floor. They closed the school down for two days until they first determined that it wasn't a dead body (person) and then they had to clean it up good since it was a food area!!! Yeah, the guys were suspended.

his urine, pee, etc i hope that shows up

we have alot of girls and guys that are drunk/high at our homecoming dance, its a tradition to come drunk/high to the dance its quite funny. no suspensions or detentions even though teachers are watching us like 6 of them

Thank goodness for pee, I thought it was that other liquid ;)

10 days for having a box cutter (from a job) locked a glove compartment
10 days for having a airsoft gun in a trunk

I go to an all boys boarding school.

Expelled for breaking curfew and making out with a girl.
Expelled for kissing a girl.
Suspended three months for going to a movie theater.
Two people got expelled for drugs.

Today a girl got suspended for slapping a guy.

At the beginning of the year, there was supposed to be a fight after school between the skaters and the jocks. Some skater kid brought knives to school and got caught.

I remember this one expulsion as being completely unique. In my old school (before high school), a girl was expelled because she had a dinner knife. Sounds fairly typical right? The girl never intended to hurt anyone w/the knife. It fell out of one of her books in the middle of the hallway when kids were switching classes. Everyone nearby saw it and started saying stuff and some teacher and the principal soon saw the knife. The girl was actually using it as a bookmark!!! That's right a bookmark. Her "bookmark" fell out of her book in the middle of a crowded hallway. Afterwards, she was yelled at and arragnements were made to expell her. All the while she kept saying "it's just a bookmark" over and over. This has to be the dumbest expilsion I've ever seen first-hand. All she had to do was maybe rip a piece of paper out of a notebook or use a pen. A freaking dinner knife! That's just stupid.

Here are some other expulsions:

When I was in 7th grade, an 8th grader was expelled for bringing a beebee gun to school.

Several kids have been expelled for drugs or poor grades since I've been in high school.

One kid was expelled for stealing North Face jackets.

One kid on the football team was suspended for hazing another team member.
