<p>Hey! So demonstrated interest is a huge thing for a lotta colleges. Since a lot of people can't afford to do ED, visit the college, attend $$$ summer programs at said college...basically standard ways to show you're really interested in the school, I've heard some people go out of the box and send colleges love letters about how much they love the school, videos that are creative/quirky about their love for said school, artwork of the school, etc</p>
<p>Do any of these things really work? I mean I really love Brown (like a lot a lot) and I've been tempted to do something really zany and send it to them to show my love/passion for them. But are these acts of passion not looked upon favorably to college admissions officers? Do you have any stories about crazy things people have down to get into college?</p>
