Creation Essay

<p>Do they want something that you physically created or are they going for a more meta interpretation.</p>

<p>That's the beauty of the question you see? They are posing a meta-question: how will you interpret this question. And there is no bad answer. Just varying degree's of "goodness." :)</p>

<p>I don't think mine was a physical creation =). I agree with differential - this is a question to take as you please. Don't worry about living up to their expectations as far as what topic you do - write a good, honest essay, and let them see you in it.</p>

<p>Agreed. My "creation" essay was not written about anything physical - research and student groups are, I think, two fairly standard "meta" responses to that question.</p>

<p>I remember reading somewhere that one applicant wrote about baking a cake! My son wrote about a genetics algorithm he created.</p>
