<p>Hi guys I was confused about this prompt. do you have to write about something you have done, project you have led? can I write about something I brainstormed, like a machine, and draw a diagram even if I have not built it in reality? it's just something I came up with, no official recognition or rewards from competition... </p>
<p>I feel it's hard to stand out on this topic if you haven't done anything phenomonal.. I personally did not get any opportunity to do research, we don't even have a science/math club at school. very limited resources here.</p>
Absolutely – you are free to write about anything you have created, whether it’s tangible or not.</p>
<p>There’s no need to write about something science or engineering-related, either. One example that’s always given is that somebody wrote that essay about baking a cake.</p>
<p>I actually only plan on writing 2 of 5 essays on something science/amth/engineering related, and on this I plan on writing about the time I organized a sideburns contest at my school. XD</p>
