Credit-Filler Courses

That list is surprising in its abundance of As and Bs.

Interestingly, Natural Resource Management, which is never touted as one of the more rigorous majors, had one of the lowest collection of median grades.

I only noticed b/c that's what I studied.

how do you know that a class is already full?
no one has signed up for any class for fall 08 semester, right?

The graduate students, rising seniors, rising juniors and rising sophomores registered for classes during the pre-enrollment period in April.

Can anyone come up with any more easy courses b/c nearly all of these are filled up?

save up the easy courses until you're a junior/senior...

trust me...when you're 21 you'll want to take it easy sometimes ^_^

Here is my issue. I am a transfer and I signed up for courses, but I was not given all of the courses that I wanted. I am in CALS.

I currently have animal physiology, evol bio, bio lab, orgo. That is only 11 credits. I wanted orgo lab, but sadly did not get it. Also taking 2 of these bios is probably too tough for my first semester as a transfer, so I may swap animal physiology for another course. Problem is that all of the fun courses are filled. So please advise me on 2 good courses to take.

I wanted to take COMM 201 or 203, but it was full also. What can I do?

drop orgo (that'll lighten the load) and add a 3 credit class...

Why would I drop orgo. It is a pre-req for nearly every upper division bio course. Also I am pre-med, what would be the point of me taking orgo and physics in junior yr. That is a tad suicidal, don't you think?

that schedule looks brutal lol. you might want to drop one of those and search for an easy elective.

if you show up to a class that is "full" with an add slip, which you get from your college's registrar, professors will sometimes let you join the class. also, if you e-mail professors, when class starts, asking if they have room in their classes, sometimes they will let you add.

^ I feel like physics is easier than all of those classes, unless you don't like math.

Blazinyan300: Put your name on orgo lab waiting list once you get on camus and i am sure you will get in the class.

Isn't this a typical pre-med bio major schedule?

Even so, I will only have 10 credit by dropping animal physiology. Any class you recommend to alleviate the pain.

How about you look at the course roster for some interesting humanities classes then check the median grade for the class!

Some asian studies classes are easy. So look into those!

i wonder why no one recommended psych101, thats gotta be one of the best classes =)

Thanks Biophilic, but when you say asian studies, do you mean courses, like Chinese or under that category or is there a category solely for Asian studies?

you could take chinese 101, thats 6 credits right there.. it's not even hard

chinese sucks up a lot of time i think , i tried taking it but it looked terrible since lecture is everyday as well as discussion once a week

Yea, I sort of don't need to take languages and plus I will be doing research so I sort of need a lax course that I do well in. Plus I am not that good with languages.

By Asian studies, i mean courses such as Introduction to southeast asia, Introduction to Modern asian history, Introduction to china (offered in spring) etc.

your schedule of orgo, animal phys, evobio, bio lab +easy elective sounds like a good plan and not brutal like some others were saying.
