Credit for HS Honors?

<p>Im a Senior HS student and GTech Hopeful.</p>

<p>Does anyone know if GTech gives you .05 credit when recalculating Tech GPA for academic classwork if it's an Honors course?</p>

<p>On the website it states that GTech recalculates your HS GPA on an UW 4.0 and +.5 for each AP or IB or College course, but doesn't mention Honors.</p>

<p>Anyone know for sure? Thanks</p>

<p>It does not because Honors classes are not standardized throughout the United States. It does however give you the opportunity to label it so in the application so that they can consider the rigor of your coursework. Tons of honors classes ARE good and they are very impressed by that, it just doesn’t influence your GPA.</p>
