What credits will Brown accept from highschool.? i.e., dual enrollment, ap, ??
Specifically will they accept dual enrollment credits or will you have to start over once you arrive??

For AP, the policy is typically that you only get credit for a course if you take a more advanced one (e.g. you get intro bio credit on your transcript once you take genetics).

I imagine if you took a course at a legitimate college/university that it would apply.

^ While true for some other subjects, this is not true for biology. A 4/5 on AP Bio earns you credit for Bio 20 unconditionally. Here’s the full list of departments accepting AP credits: [Advanced Placement Information](<a href=“Advanced Placement Exams | The College | Brown University”>Advanced Placement Exams | The College | Brown University)

Also note that AP credits do not count towards the 30 needed to graduate from Brown.

All of this really depends on whether you want to graduate early. Do you?
