Does Harvard give credit for university-level math course taken through Stanford EPGY? If so, is it just a credit or credit with grade (aka grade shows up in official transcript)?

Thanks!

If you're entering as a freshman, you don't get any transfer credit. The only exception is through Advanced Standing (AP/IB credits). However, the course will count towards placement; if you've already covered that material, you won't have to take the same course again, and you can skip ahead to the course that you're ready for.

what's the procedure for that? (placing ahead if you've already taken a college course) are there placement tests, or do they just evaluate your coursework?

There are placement tests but they are all for recommendation only, except for expository writing. Normally you can just go into whatever course you want. However, if you are skipping a course required for your major you have to talk to your concentration adviser. Look in the Course Catalog and in the Fields of Concentration book..
