Great news for those without a car, an excerpt from today’s email about Crimson Ride changes -

Crimson Ride changes include the following:

…Adding a new weekend shopping route on Sunday from 1-6 pm, which will transport passengers to popular off-campus retail centers such as Target, University Mall and Midtown Village.

It just keeps getting better and better! Roll Tide :)

RobD - I assume the email was sent to son’s Bama mail - we still have it dumping into an alt. address where we caught all of the college info… as long as I’m not getting any of DSs personal email I think I’m going to keep it this way so I can see the goings on :)

Would it include Yogurt Mountain, Best Buy, Office Depot or Max, and the Arby’s with the tree in it? I know some boys that would enjoy those places!

Office Max and the Arby’s with the tree in it would probably be a walkable distance from Midtown Village if one was really wanted to get to either place; Office Depot is near Wal-Mart, so it won’t be near the route. Home Depot and CVS would be a walkable distance away from Target or the University Mall. I noticed today that there is a standalone Starbucks in Midtown Village, which makes me quite happy, especially if they do the treat receipt promo.
