How many questions would I have to get wrong (maximum) to get at least a 700 on the critical reading section?
What about for an 800?

More then 6 or 7. Was 9 on the last one I took.

More around 8-10.

Harvard, I think your friend got unlucky and took an SAT with a harsher curve. To my knowledge it’s usually 8-10 for a 700.

Of course, 8-10 in reality is -10 to -12 on the raw score.

I missed 7 on the march and 8 on the january and got 690 both times. so i’d go with 6 max.

as for the june one, i missed 2 and got 800. so i’d go with 2, maybe 3 max for 800.

of course i missed these questions completely, so you could possibly not answer a few more for each option and get the score that you want. hope this helps.

On the june test, it was -9 for a 700.

From the released curves an raw score of 58 (out of 67) averages a 700. So that would be 7 wrong answers.
