Critical Reading tips?

Hi, so here's my problem.
I have troubles with the critical reading section. I took the SAT twice and got a 600 on CR. My problem is timing - I always rush because I fear that time is running out. Or sometimes time does run out. I know my problem is timing because I don't miss any questions whenever I am not time-restricted. I read a lot of tips here (i.e. skim the questions and underline specific areas that the questions refer to), but they are pretty futile. I tried all of the methods and I still can't complete the sections in time. Problem is the long passages.
TL;DR - Any tips for tackling long passages and finishing each section quickly and accurately?
Thanks.

Critical Reading is the type of thing where you can only get better with practice. Continue practicing and you will definitely get it up.

I have no idea if this will help but for grad school exams, I broke down the time by the number of questions. For example, if I had 30 minutes for 10 reading passages, each passage(and questions that went with it) would get 3 minutes each. if i was not done at end of 3 minutes, I would quickly answer any remaining questions in that section that I definitely knew the answer to and then I’d move on to next section. or maybe as others said, skim questions quickly first and then while you answer test questions, answer the ones you know immediately first and come back to the ones that are bogging you down. While practicing, I suggest timing yourself strictly since the timing and not the comprehension is what is getting you.
