CS 70 / Math 55, I need both but they're the same?

<p>As of right now, I want to major in Comp Sci and Applied Math in L&S.
Comp Sci requires that I take CS 70, while Applied Math requires math 55.</p>

<p>uhm, am I missing something, or am I going to take the same course twice? help?!</p>

<p>You will have to petition to either have CS70 count for your Applied Math req. or the other way around, should be a trivial matter. I’m an EECS major planning on doing Applied Math as well and would have to do the same except that EECS allows 55 in lieu of CS70 anyway.</p>
