Is this a realistic option at UM? I understand that one can get a BS in Computer Science in both the college of engineering and in LSA. Would I have to get the BS for Comp. Science in LSA if I also want the BA for Economics?

idk ur prolly gonna get a lot of BS

I don't quite understand what you are saying...

Are you saying that it isn't worth it due to the extra work I would have to do?

Bump, anyone wanna offer their suggestions?

one more ques.....if i complete all requirements for CS and Econ will i get a BA and a BS oe will i get only a BS??

Bump, I am also interested in this. Someone please answer.

You can get a BC in CS from either the college of LSA or the CoE. You can get a BS or a BA in Economics, depending on the courses you chose to take. The following combinations are possible"

BS in CS from the CoE and BA in Economics from LSA
BS in CS from the CoE and BS in Economics from LSA
BS in CS and Economics from LSA

It is up to the individual student how to go about it. The CoE has its own set of graduation requirements, so it would probably be tougher to get the CS degree from the CoE, but it is certainly possible.
