C's, eek gad

So, this is my second semester at college and I've been having a rough time with a few courses even thoguh I've been try fairly hard. I've have managed to secure C's on three out of four midterms (U.S. Gov 74,Chem 71,Music 75) and a B (Mutlivariable Calc 83) on the fourth. Chances are I'll finish this semester with a 2.5-3.0 GPA. I'm double majoring in Bio ang Gov at a good liberal arts college in New England, as maybe you've read in previous posts of mine.

If I pull myself out of my slump and go back to around the 3.5 GPA that I had first semester and 3.7 I had january term, how do you think this will affect my after college life in terms of being competitve for jobs and grad schools?

With your past experience, is this second semester a strong prediction of my grade capabilites, or is there a good chance I'm I just in a slump (my chem and music professors teach in a way that's not advantageous to the way I learn)?

I know nobody can really know these things, but what does your experience tell you?

thanks! =)

Drew

what would you go to grad school for?

Will a C in Education Law (in my case, and I'm not pre-law) during the Fall of my Junior Year (when I got As, yes As, in my other courses) impact my admissions to Graduate Schools? Should I just give up since a C will reject me at the top colleges?

if you're mocking me, my situtation is very different.

The thing is, I will msot likely be gonig for Biology/Environmental Biology (I've already secured an internship working in the white mountains doing evnironmental bio-chem research during this summer and next), btu I'm still not exactly sure. And if you're wondering why I'm majoring in Gov too, it's because I really enjoy it =), and I'll ahve my entire grad school career to take science classes, or so I'm told.

bump?......
