CSBA or CS+Minor Help?

So I'm stuck between taking the CSBA route or going CS major and mobile development minor, and have a couple questions hopefully someone in this field/graduates can answer.

Which route has more jobs available as a undergrad graduate?
How much of the business aspect would I learn in the CSBA route? If applicable, how useful is it.
And which route would you take and why?

Thanks in advance!

This is completely my personal opinion so you can ignore it if you want, but I think a minor in mobile development isn’t very useful. If you’re interested in taking some classes in mobile development like Mobile Application Tech, that’s awesome! But, dedicating a whole 18 units or how much ever it is to something you could easily learn on your own is not worthwhile, at least in my opinion.

I think part of the great thing about CS(regular) is that you have so much free room to explore and try out different electives. If you’re interested in mobile app dev, take some courses. If you like finance, take some courses!

@Siddysidsid, I disagree. If he wants to take mobile application classes, you might as well get a piece of paper saying “Minor in Mobile App Development.” Also, mobile app development CAN be self-taught, but that’s only to a certain extent. I think the minor is a good choice especially in the rapidly growing mobile phone industry!

Which route has more jobs available as a undergrad graduate?
I’d reason CSBA because you can get any number of Business or CS (including mobile dev) jobs.

How much of the business aspect would I learn in the CSBA route? If applicable, how useful is it.
I’m not sure about what you’d learn, but the people I know who did it found it useful and got good jobs.

And which route would you take and why?
I would take CS w/Mobile Dev minor because I don’t have an interest in business. If you have an interest in business then you should do CSBA. Just personal preference.

When it comes to getting a job having a mobile project on your resume is similar in value to having a Mobile Dev minor. You could do CSBA and in your 3rd and 4th years take the upper level mobile classes as tech electives.
