CSS profile - Can colleges see who I send this to?

I found the post about college financial aid offices being able to see who you send your FAFSA to.

I'm wondering if it's the same for the CSS profile. Can anyone who works in financial aid help?

Thanks.

For anyone who's interested, I just had my own question answered. Yes, they can see all the colleges you are sending your CSS profile to. I just had someone in the FA office at the college I work in show me a css profile & sure enough all the colleges were listed. I was also told they do look to see where you have applied & make determinations based on it. It's a business & if they really want a certain student, they will compete with the other colleges.

Is it possible to submit the FAFSA separately to each school (so that other colleges don't see where else you are applying) by dropping/adding a school with each submission?

You can definitely submit the FAFSA separately by adding and deleting schools after each submission is processed, but the CSS Profile is different from the FAFSA. I submitted the CSS to one school in November, so obviously that school has no other school listed. I am not sure if all schools will received updated profiles when I add additional schools. I will have to read the website, but I do know you cannot delete schools from the list, so once they are added, they are there permanently. Also the Profile I saw showed 10 spaces for colleges. Not sure what happens if you add more than 10 colleges.

Can anyone else add to this? This is kind of bothersome.
