Hi there. I'm applying to college this fall and one of my schools (American University), which I'm applying to ED, wants me to submit the CSS Profile with my application by November 15th. If I submit the CSS Profile to American by then, will I be able to re-submit it to other schools later on in the event that I don't get into American early decision?

Accidentally clicked submit. I also meant to ask:

Or should I pay for and submit the CSS Profile for all of the schools I’m considering RD as well?

The CSS PROFILE that you are submitting on Nov 15th will be using estimated numbers since you won’t have actual for year ending 12/31/2013 yet. If you are comfortable doing that with your other schools, I suppose you could, but the numbers are going to have to jive with your parents’ and your 2013 tax returns and FAFSA, you understand. The more accurate the financial info on the PROFILE, the more accurate will financial aid package be.

Yes, I understand that, and I have no problem with that. My estimated info should be very accurate anyway, plus American Univ changes the financial aid package if your FAFSA info is different. The FAFSA is due for them on February 15th.

What I’m concerned about is if I click the submit button on the PROFILE and all of a sudden I can’t go back and send it to other schools later. Would I be able to?

You can change it before you submit it to additional schools. We were worried about the same thing last year.

So I can submit it to American, and then, if I don’t get in early decision, go back and send it to other schools at a later date?

Thank you!
