<p>for the Parent's Business (BA) part, there is a section for Business 1 and Business 2. but my parents only have 1 business and i cant submit the CSS Profile until i fill out the business 2 part as well. how the heck am i supposed to get around this?</p>

<p>Wow. We totally did not put anything on those spaces and the form went through fine. </p>
<p>You can always type in NA or NOT APPLICABLE in the business name slot and a zero in the number slot. </p>
<p>Also, go to the CSS FAQ section and see if they have more. You could search Business.
Read the instructions carefully too. They may tell you to tab or return or some such to skip to the next section.</p>

<p>i tried putting N/A and 0, but for some of the questions (like what date was the business formed) it wont let me put in anything that is not in the MM/YYYY format (and it wont let me put in 00/0000 or anything). i tried searching for any FAQs or instructions about this issue, but i cant seem to find any :-[</p>
<p>If they say you have to fill out for two businesses, that means in your pre-application, you put down that you have two businesses. The form customizes itself to fit your information, which is why you have information to fill up on two businesses and Olymom did not.</p>
<p>I’m not sure you can change the pre-app (or is it pre-registration?) Try e-mailing Collegeboard and tell them you made a mistake.</p>
<p>You can change the registration information. I think there is a link along the top of the screen while you are in the middle of the profile. One year I could NOT figure out how to get the Profile to understand that the student’s father was deceased–how do you enter information on the address of someone who is dead? (Don’t go there!). Finally I called them–turns out in the Registration her mom had to be listed as Widowed, even though she had never legally been married to the student’s father. When we changed the Registration, viola! Good Luck!</p>
