Css?!

I didn't know that something like CSS existed until last night. I applied to Lehigh University ED1 because I actually love the school. But my guidance counselor never mentioned anything about CSS so I didn't know that the deadline had even passed.. The deadline was November 15, but do you think I can still submit my CSS application? Do you think that they won't review my application?
PLEASE REPLY :(

Call Lehigh. No one here can tell you the implications of NOT getting your Profile done on time.

As an FYI…it is NOT your guidance counselors job to tell you every deadline for every item for all applications. Can you imagine your GC doing this for every HS senior for multiple colleges? These deadlines are readily available on every college website. YOU need to check those deadlines.

And just in case you don’t get accepted ED, you need to check the deadlines for ALL the other schools to which you apply.

The college had a priority deadline for filing the Profile so that they would have TIME to prepare a financial aid estimate to send to you with your ED acceptance. You need to call them ASAP…and submit the Profile accurately ASAP. Lehigh will tell you whether this will affect their ability to prepare a financial aid package for you for the ED acceptance (should you be accepted). If they say yes…you are fine. If they say NO, you might want to consider asking that your application be moved to regular decision if financial aid is important.

Your admission will not be affected by lack of a financial aid form, in all likelihood. But getting a financial aid package in time to decide about an ED acceptance could be. Call the school.

Thumper’s reply is exactly right. I would add that no one in college is going to tell you what you need to do. It is your responsibility to check everything for your classes. If you miss an assignment or requirement because you didn’t read the syllabus the prof will not chase you down or even care. It’s not high school any more and it’s not up to others to tell you what you need to do

OP what ended up happening for you?

Old thread. The OP hasn’t posted since January.
