CSU app question

Do I have to fill eop section if I don’t qualify …income parents education etc or is it optional

No

OK so I can leave the whole section blank…it says Family education.income and size info…sorry for being so naive.

Family ed level, income and such are probably required. You will be forced to complete a FAFSA form too so, there’s really no harm in reporting the info.

but i submitted the app. thinking the info was optional…what should i do now?

Family Education, Income and Size Information

This information is required for all applicants interested in EOP or an admission application fee waiver. Your answers in
this section will be used to help determine your eligibility for the application fee waiver and/or EOP.
Parents’ highest levels of formal education: Select the highest level of formal education completed by both of your
parents. This data will identify first-generation college students and will allow for the analysis of the CSU applicant pool in relation to a changing California demography. "

If you think you actually require financial aid, then submitting a FAFSA will serve the purpose. No worries now that you have already submitted your application.

If I remember correctly, the EOP section is separate and it can be left blank if you do not qualify or want to apply for EOP. Other parts of the app ask you about background, family, etc but I do not think income is required.
