Music composition
Has anyone gotten an acceptance or a decline? Because Iām really starting to worry that I havenāt gotten anything from Long Beach!
still nothing here man
They are in the top ten as the most applied university in America. I think itās gonna take them past March.
My son is still waiting tooā¦
For the benefit of next yearās applicants, my daughter was actually considered in state according to her application. I did not know that because her dad is a resident she would be considered a resident for admission purposes only.
As far as I can tell they are only doing virtual and self directed tours. This is the only school I have run in to this so far.
yeah, we went up a few weeks ago and walked around ourselves, on a day where school was in session so we could see what the campus was like.
Son just got notified, heās wait listed for CS.
CSU GPA 4.0, CA resident, non local.
I got waitlisted (I used the applicant self service thing today)
Major: Civil Engineering
CSU GPA: 3.65
7 AP Classes
This is my fourth waitlist
I was also waitlisted at UCR, UCSC, and SDSU
stuff was stupid competitive this yearā¦ridiculous.
btw, i got the notification through the self service link as well. Have not gotten the email directing you how to accept the wait list offer.
Go here and reserve your spot in the waitlist. Click the tab āAccept my waitlistā
thank you for that link! duh, should have seen that from the million times i went there to get an application status.
of course as soon as someone points out the link to the waitlist acceptance, long beach sends the email.
does anyone know the chances of getting off the waitlist?
No waitlist stats on the CDS for Long Beach at all. Sorry.
This year, low, esp. for STEM majors. Time to look elsewhere! DS was waitlisted here for CS. Heās headed to UCSC for CS and is excited about it!
They are doing formal tours now - they just opened them up. We took one on Wednesday March 31st after which my daughter committed. She loved it!
Hi, Can I DM you? I have a question that Iād rather ask offlne. My son will probably choose CSULB.
My daughter is the same - one parent living in CA. She gets in-state tuition - I donāt think that counts for admission purposes, just tuition.
