@stepasidepeasant I got a 1280/1600 so I was pretty surprised to get denied, I thought I had a given admission but this year they CSULB got 90,000+ applicants
I got rejected yesterday, and I’m honestly really surprised. I guess they just got more competitive.
I got the email “The good news is that you are still being considered for admission for Fall 2017 and we have everything we need to complete our review. However I want to let you know that we will not be able to make a decision on your application until the end of March”

Are you all getting an email without requesting status update first or are you logging in and requesting status updates which then gets emailed to you? Any music majors out there who have already been accepted?
I was accepted for the psychology major but I am petitioning to double major for HR Management. I talked to my boyfriend’s mother who is a mechanical engineer alumni at Long Beach and she said its becoming so competitive that it’s rising up with all the UC schools such as Irvine, Davis, Santa Barbara, etc…

I found out yesterday that I was rejected as well. Pretty disappointed since I applied as a local transfer student (live in the LA area) with a 3.2 GPA. However, I got accepted into San Jose State yesterday as well and am waiting on decisions for the other schools I applied to.
Received an e-mail yesterday that I was rejected. I applied as a local transfer student with a 3.2 GPA but guess the impacted major is competitive. Pretty disappointed but CSULB wasn’t my first choice and I got an acceptance e-mail from SJSU later in the day.
