<p>Yay. seems like you read my “should i take linear algebra” thread. xD
the school is very “hands-on” compared to UC’s…which is very useful experience for engineering majors. but if you’re into theory, go to a UC. sac state usually beats UC davis in engineering competitions btw.</p>

<p>I was thinking about sac state for a while, for mechE, I liked the campus and campus life when I went and stayed with a friend who goes there. The thing I didnt like is that it is pretty heavily impacted and from what I gathered from students its kinda hard to get classes. I would check it out for yourself if your interested in it. They have a bridge that goes from campus to across the american river and the civil engineering students got to design it.</p>
