CSU sending out decisions

I think some of the CSUs are sending out decision right now.. because I just got rejected by CSU pomona.... they even incorrectly my residential status as a non-resident but im actually a permanent resident...

not sure...but you might want to touch base with the admin office to see if the "non-resident" status negatively affected your application.

sf state accepted me like a 2 weeks ago.

anyone heard from sdsu yet

Some CSUs started accepting people back in October.

SDSU doesn't start sendng out transfer decisions untill early March I think.

State schools are quick. I sent my app to SF State in October/November and it didn't take longer than a week to hear back from them. Quite a shock, but not really...

According to college board, SDSU should notify transfer students by 3/1.

Still waiting on SDSU. Heard back from Long Beach a couple of days ago.

I think I am doomed for all the CSUs
I missed like 2 out of 4 of the requirements
the oral communication and the critical thinking...
Actually i am taking those two classes right now but i did not specify it on my application....>.<

What about Cal Poly SLO... i think SLO and SDSU are my only chances for backups now >.<

^^ did they just accepted you already without having to send a official transcript to them, i received a letter that request me to send a transcript...i didn't even bother since i don't plan on going to Long Beach, but just asking.

You have to send in transcript in order to be considered for LB.

I haven't even gotten my calpoly log in yet :(

What the heck. How can u get rejected from Cal Poly Pomona. I just got admitted today

^no need to get cocky.

Yeaaa. Cal Poly pomona admitted everyone who applied

architecture is pretty competitive at cal poly pomona

Anybody heard from cal poly SLO yet?

If they got your residency status wrong I would think that they made a mistake. You really should follow up.

A similar thing happened to my boyfriend with UC Irvine, and he ended up being accepted a couple weeks after getting a rejection.

I seriously don't know... I just sent my official transcript a few days ago. My assumption for their rejection is because they see that I will not be taking classes that will fulfill the oral communication and critical thinking. However, the reality is that I will be completing those two classes.

That IS exactly what happened with him. Irvine sent him an e-mail asking why he hadn't fulfilled a major prereq when he had, in fact, completed it. When he sent them an e-mail stating this he never got a response. He later got an e-mail saying that he was rejected for not completing the requirement and for not responding to the e-mail.

A couple weeks later, he got a letter saying that his appeal was accepted and he was in. However, he had never appealed their decision.

Well I will try calling cal poly pomona tomorrow. I really wanna get in there because i think it is a great school. If they still cannot accept me I will just re-apply for the summer term. thanx for your replies
