@CSUtrnsfr It’s crazy, last spring I applied and with a 3.27 (with the AA-T bump) and got in. I really wish I just accepted it last spring.
This time I’m applying with a 3.31 including the bump

@CommsTransfer18 it’s insane…but hopefully it’ll all work out!
i was accepted on 9/29 so idk about that gpa cut off
Major: Communications (Advertising)
GPA: 3.11
AA-T/AS-T: No
Pre-reqs: Done
Golden 4: All A’s
Local Area: Yes
@transferfinally that’s so weird! I’ve gotten so much misinformation I don’t even know what to believe anymore…but congrats on getting in! This gives me hope! (3.06 with AS-T and Local)
Hello everyone, quick question:
I just got an email regarding the transfer degree verification.
It reads:
“You indicated on your Spring 2018 admission application that you were either earning or have completed an Associate Degree for Transfer (AA-T or AS-T) from your community college. We need verification of this information from your community college by no later than November 15, 2017.”
Does this mean I have a chance of getting admitted? (I am aware it is not an admission letter, I just wanted to know what are the odds).
@olivia0602 no it means that your CC need a to verify that your AST is in progress ASAP to Fullerton so you have a better chance
Major: Sociology
GPA: 2.9 and 3.0 with AA-T bump
AA-T/AS-T: Yes, completed summer 2017
Pre-reqs: done
Golden 4: two A’s and two B’s
Local: yes, attended several CC’s in OC but transferred with most classes from Fullerton College.
Schools applied to: CSUF and CSULB
I applied on 08/30 and submitted my transcripts on 09/30. I have constately logged onto the student portal and my application has not been reviewed and I don’t have anything noted on my To Do list. Today I received an email from CSUF admissions stating they received verification of my AA-T. I hope to hear more from them soon. Good luck to everyone and let’s keep this post going!
@CSUtrnsfr and how would I go about that? Would I have to call my school or go to a website? I have completed both my AA and the transfer degree. I checked my student portal and my to-do list is empty, plus I called earlier to check if my transcripts and degree verification were in but the lady was rude and wasn’t very helpful. I will most likely call again tomorrow just to make sure
Major: Communications
GPA: 3.15
AA-T/AS-T: In Progress
Pre-reqs: done
Golden 4: A A B C
Local:No
Also have Final transcripts in my to do list, but they received my other transcripts for the deadline date, and they also need to verify that my degree is in progress, which I have already talked to my CC about.
@olivia0602 Just talk to your school’s transfer center, or meet with a counselor. I went to my transfer center to figure it all out. they need to update your degree information on eVerify. Once they do that, the information gets sent to CSUF automatically.
@mmcctransfer95 I called the application services earlier at Fullerton and according to them, they have the verification already that my AA-T degree is completed, but I will do what you suggested just to be safe
Thank you so much for your help!
Accepted!
Major: Business (Accounting)
GPA: 3.4 (3.5 with AS-T bump)
AA-T/AS-T: In Progress
Pre-reqs: Done
Golden 4: Done
Local:No
I have 2 official transcripts on my to do list to verify my gpa, but my transcripts should have already been sent to CSUF. I also got the admissions offer the day after they asked me to verify my AS-T degree, so I’m assuming they verified it.
@mssekkostar congratulations on your acceptance if you don’t mind me asking, where are you from?
@olivia0602 I’m from LA county! As a non local and having attended 4 different schools, I was really worried about my gpa since my academic history wasn’t that great, especially since they never announced the gpa cutoff for non locals.
Do you know how to verify the A-ST?
@mssekkostar same here, I’m not local and I’m at a 3.0 flat WITH the bump
I thought LA would be considered local though? :o
Guys…when are we supposed to apply for financial aid? Like do we just add CSUF to our FAFSA? It seems like they don’t have anything to say about that.
Hey guys ! I still haven’t been accepted and I’m really worried I’m not going to get in . Does anyone know the gpa cutoff for nonlocals ?
Major:Business
Gpa:3.05
aa-t/as-t: in progress
Golden 4: done
Local: no from la
@lizethlopez333 I called the admissions evaluations department this morning and they said the current out of local gpa cut off is a 3.25
You should go to your CC transfer center or a counselor. Ask them when they will update your degree verification on eVerify for CSUF to see.
