CSULB or Chapman University for Film?

Hello,
So I got accepted to Cal State Long Beach for Narrative Film Production earlier this month. I thought I would for sure go and just live at home (with my extended family) in LOng Beach.

A few days ago I got into Chapman’s TV Writing & Production and now I’m torn between which film school to go to. My father lives in Orange so again housing wouldn’t be an issue. Ultimately my career goal is to be a writer, more specifically a Narrative TV Writer. I know Chapman would be incredible. It has a great program, campus and great networking but it’s tuition is roughly $52,000 a year while LB is somewhere around $7000 a year. Huge difference.

I’m claimed as a dependent and my dad makes too much for me to get anything from the FAFSA. I have a 3.6 GPA if that matters.

What I want to know is which sounds like a better investment in the long run? I need some perspective.

Thanks!
