I got accepted into the college of engineering at CU but have had a sudden change of heart (AKA temporary panic) and now I think I might want to become a secondary education science teacher. My understanding is I can't have an engineering major in the teacher licensure program, my second choice is physics. What do I have to do to notify the CU of this change and will it affect my admissions decision?

DO NOT do anything. You are accepted into a particular school. You will be able to change your major your first year. Not a big deal.

And especially because you said the word “temporary” i would hold off. give it some thought…

There is also an engineering physics major - essentially identical to A+S physics except some additional engineering course.
