I’m likely going to get rejected from Cal Poly SLO for Architecture. I was wondering what would be a better decision if I want to transfer to SLO later in my college career. Should I go to Cal Poly Pomona and take the Arch program there and transfer after my second year, or try to go to Cuesta and major in Architectural Technologies and transfer? It seems like Cuesta might be the better option, although housing seems like it would make it less affordable than Pomona. Then again, I have $9000+ unmatched need for Pomona so I’m not really sure what I should do. I already have been accepted to both (although everyone gets accepted to Cuesta …)
Also, as a third option, I could go to my local CC and major in Architecture, but Cuesta works with CP SLO and it seems like there’s a better transfer rate there. Housing is the problem.
