Hello, I'm about five minutes new to this board so pardon me if I make a newbie mistake. I just have a few questions about Culver Academies(Mens) and my chances at the moment. All I have done so far is send in my Online Application.

I am a freshman in highschool and wish to transfer to Culver Academies for my Sophmore-Senior year. I have a 3.8 Cum, Participate in Lacrosse, Speech and Debate, Community Service with my Local Temple (I am Jewish), have participated in Karate and football and recieved awards in all three sports. I am very knowledgeable about politics and am very, very comfortable with adults. I am best friends with one of the Duchossois Award recievers who said he can possibly put in a good word for me. Just based on that, do you think I have a fair shot? I have yet to take the SSat but am hopeful I can score at the level necessary to get in.

EDIT: I have also participated at a 10-day Medical/Leadership seminar at Johns Hopkins University for which I was nominated through traits of leadership and academics

A few other questions:
What average SSAT score does Culver take?
How much prep. is necessary for the SSAT?
Culver said they were accepting 70 and was not very specific as to what that meant. Do they mean 70 new sophmores?

Thanks to all who can help!
