<p>My friend’s son is there. He enjoys it. He is hoping to work for the federal gov’t as he is bilingual natively in a language which is in great demand.</p>
<p>Many cops attend John Jay to get ahead in the department. I went to law school with many graduates of John Jay.</p>
<p>If criminal justice is what you want to do, John Jay is the place for you.</p>

<p>My friend is graduating today from John Jay. She’s going to Hunter for a second bachelors degree- she graduated from JJ in two years with a BA in Forensic Psychology. </p>
<p>She wasn’t very happy there- she felt like she didn’t get a real college experience (it felt like 13th grade) and the work was too easy for her. Her commute was pretty long (we live on Long Island) so she didn’t get to participate in clubs. </p>
<p>If you are ok with the commuter mentality of JJ and the attitude of some of the students, it should be alright for you. If you’re OOS, make sure you can afford to rent an apartment in the city.</p>
