I'm currently at Queens College, have a 3.2 GPA, but transfered from another University that I did not do well in (2.6 GPA). I am a Featured Columnist on Bleacher Report (a national major sports website) and I have written several articles for three different websites that I work for, in addition to running my own blog. I once wrote an article about the New York Islanders hockey team, and they liked it so much, they decided to put it on their official website.

I suppose I have the portfolio to show, but my GPA could be a train-wreck, if my previous college is considered.

I want to apply to CUNY's Journalism school, and was wondering if anyone has any clue what they really want to see (per the School's website, there is no minimum GPA, but there must be some unwritten expected standard). Anyone out there who can help? Would be greatly appreciated.
