CUNY Transfer for Fall 2018

100

Ohhh! Iol I check the hotline everyday it changed two Friday’s ago. They said wait two weeks and it’s already been that amount. :-/

Guys, I’m worried. My portal just to say something like “after sending transcripts blah blah” but now…It just shows me the dates I’ve submitted my app form and the “print” part  (like before I made my payment) T_T

@JessRoman

Mine said that for about a month and a half before changing to a decision has been made. One way to check if that’s your actual status is by emailing them. They’ll tell you your real status. Mine say that but I emailed them and they said a decision had been made and in two weeks the portal would update.

What a relief!!! Thank you @warda <3

Congrats to everyone that been accepted to their dream school so far! I called the John Jay admissions since I was getting nowhere with the actual CUNY admissions hotline but the lady who was talking to me told me that a decision has been made. When I called the CUNY admissionst the automated machine told me that my application was still under review. I checked the CUNY portal and it says the same thing that it’s under review. I’ve applied to 4 colleges and they’re John Jay, Queens College, Medgar Evers, And York College. I was wondering if anyone has heard from any of these schools yet! (I sent my application out on November 14.)

Hopefully someone can help me figure things out so I can stop panicking over the weekend. Apparently I’m missing documents for my transfer app to (mainly Brooklyn College) yet everyone who helped me said that as a transfer student there are no fees for me to pay and they automatically retrieve my transcript as I am coming from a community college. Even the UAPC lady said that that’s all she needs from me…er the school when I called in to switch my first choice.

I do have to fo go into Brooklyn college’s financial aid office to see what documents they need from me regarding my fafsa for verification, but fafsa goes to the school, not UAPC right? That’s the only thing I can think of that they’d need…

@hnpur1 Yes I got into John Jay. Got the email yesterday.

Did anyone receive a letter asking to take a math placement exam? I’m really worried cause I’ve taken a math course already at the college I’m currently at.

My status just changed to “a decision has been made” so I called the hotline and it said Brooklyn College (my top choice)!! This means I got in, right? I haven’t heard about the college listed at the end of the call rejecting someone.
Also, for reference, I applied late January (for anybody else waiting anxiously). I’m so excited!

Today I called the hotline and I heard “A decision has been made” and I heard Baruch College. I called Baruch College and the advisor said they have my application however, Baruch College has to make a decision so I think there is a second round. If Baruch College doesn’t accept me then my application would go Brooklyn College, my second choice

It’s been a while and my portal has changed to a decision has been made as well. I called the hotline and Baruch has made its decision.

I also have a decision from Baruch!

I also have a decision from Baruch! Hopefully it all works out AGHH

I officially got into Brooklyn College! Yay!!

Congrats!! Also did you get it as an email or was it in your portal?

I received an email! My portal and the hotline are still the same though. Also, it was surprisingly quick. My portal changed to a decision has been made less than a week ago. I’m not sure why they’re so slow sometimes and so fast other times. Good luck!!

I am still waiting on my decision in an email. Baruch College said I will get a respond by the end of the week. That is my first choice… I’m so nervous!

Does anyone know when transfers get to register for classes?

No admission e-mail, but I did get a date for a math placement exam. Not sure if that means anything at all?
