CUNYs and SUNYs

<p>I was thinking about choosing a CUNY or SUNY for my safety school. From research I found out that most (if not all) CUNYs don't have housing so I think i'm just gonna go with SUNYs. </p>

<p>Im looking at SUNY Binghamton and SUNY Stony Brook right now. I don't know if I could use it as a safety though. </p>

<p>I have a 3.58 GPA, ranked in top 10% of my class and 1270 SAT (M+CR, 690 W). And I'll be applying out of state to one of them. </p>

<p>Which one is better? And what are my chances of getting into them?</p>

<p>Your chances are kinda low. Your out of state, and your GPA is to low for those schools. Try SUNY Albany you might have a better chance.</p>
