<p>We just found out our package, 12K UMich grant and the rest they expect us to take out loans. Our EFC was 4k. Seems like UMich doesnt offer much in scholarships or am I missing something. It would seem that a school that states it has the biggest alumni network in world would have access to a large amount of scholarship money from past alum.</p>
<p>You're lucky. I received 3,500 in grants and my EFC was $2000.</p>

<p>10k Michigan grant, possible 3k in work study, 1k in federal grants, and the rest are federal loans.</p>

<p>I own you all! My efc was 15K. My parents cannot afford anything however. Grant was $3000. So, 37,000 per year in loans for me (not including work study of 3000)!!! OOS by the way.</p>

<p>No aid for me. I'm OOS and will be paying 42K per year. Will take a loan of 10K per year....so i'll be 40K in debt by the time I graduate.</p>
<p>In State Transfer Student with $0 EFC. I got a total of $20,600 in grants and scholarships, $2500 in work-study, and $3019 in subsidized loans. I'm quite happy obviously.</p>
