<p>My son was accepted off the waitlist last week, and is pretty sure he is going to attend UDel..... He received a scholarship (academic) at every other school to which he was accepted.... How many received scholarships to UDel? Anyone off the waitlist get one?</p>

<p>I was a wait list admit and did not receive any scholarships, but then again, I didn't at any other school I applied to either. FYI: UD is ranked at number 19 on Princeton Review's Students</a> Dissatisfied with Financial Aid list.</p>
<p>I was accepted off of the waitlist at UD but received no merit award. I did receive merit awards from all of the other universities that I applied to - but in the end - I wanted UD, so it wasn't an issue. (well, except for my bruised pride :))</p>
<p>I think they offered scholarships w/initial acceptances but don't know if they have any money left. Son was invited for the Distinguished Scholar Weekend and received $20,000/year. I don't believe they re-offer that $$$ to other students if their offer is turned down (they had said they didn't re-offer up the Dupont awards). Although he would have happily gone to Delaware, he will be happily attending the University of Pittsburgh instead (they offered more $$$).</p>
