Hi I am a Junior right now and have a good idea about where I want to go and would love to hear people’s input on what I should do my Senior year/what I should improve on so I can improve my chances.
Here are my stats:
Demographic:
-White
-Irish Immigrant, Dual Citizen, Both Parents went to Irish College
-Florida Private School
-Do not live with parents, live with grandparents.
Academics:
- GPA: W:3.8. School does not give unweighted. My GPA will probably drop after this semester because I got mononucleosis and it really messed me up .
- ACT 33 (35R,35E,33S,30M) will retake it once more to improve my math
- SAT 1420 (690WR, 730M) going to retake at most 2 more times
- Subject Tests: Taking Math II and Physics in June, Taking Chinese in November

- Not really extra curricular but I do have 1 on 1 Chinese conversation once a week.
- This summer I am going to try and make some games on my own since that is one of my major interests.
Volunteering:
~100 hours doing a multitude of things, most come from volunteering at Junior Olympics
Awards:
- Chinese Award 3 Years in a row
- Headmasters List
- Honor Roll
Recommendations:
- I know I will get a great rec from my Chinese teacher but am still trying to find my second writer. It will probably be a math teacher or my biotech teacher since she had me when I was a freshman.
